After an endless 10 hour flight from Sydney (fuck you Qantas), we finally touched down in Seoul Inchon at around 6pm. With our health check "QCode" data pre-prepared, we breezed through customs, waited an age for our luggage, picked up our pocket wifi, and finally arrived in Seoul via the airport link around 10pm. When we finally left the subway and surfaced in Insadong (en route to Hotel Sunbee), we were greeted with a light snowfall. Magic!

After dumping our bags we headed out for some dinner. There wasn't much open but we finally agreed on a small pub - Chicken and Beer - and supped on its namesakes. The fried chicken and green onion pancake were amazing, and the draft beer went down very well indeed. All in all a great first meal in Korea.

Having been on our feet for over 20 hours by this stage, we trudged back to the hotel, fell into our beds, and didn't stir until 10am the next morning.
